The MolinaCares Accord Presents $40K Grant to Rosalind Franklin University’s Interprofessional Community Clinic

CHICAGO, May 29, 2023 - The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Illinois, presented a $40,000 grant to Rosalind Franklin University (RFU) in support of their student-led Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC), which provides health care to uninsured residents in Lake County, Illinois. The grant will go toward crucial vaccinations, vitals kits to supplement telehealth services, and medical supplies enabling the clinic to offer pelvic health and dermatology services for ICC patients. The contribution is part of the MolinaCares Illinois Health Equity Initiative – an investment of nearly $5 million to improve equity and health outcomes in under-resourced communities.
