Molina Healthcare of Ohio Receives 2014 Pillar Award

Molina Healthcare of Ohio received a 2014 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service from Smart Business. Molina was nominated for the award by community partner, After-School All-Stars Ohio (ASAS), a program focused on helping at-risk youth succeed in school and life. The partnership between ASAS and Molina Healthcare benefits children and families in 10 Ohio schools. Molina was recognized for their collaboration with schools and community-based organizations to deliver health education opportunities and expand health, wellness and education programs offered in schools, community centers and other gathering spaces. The award is presented annually to honor businesses of all types and sizes that make outstanding contributions to their communities through charitable contributions, creative efforts that make a difference, and a demonstrated tie between the for profit and nonprofit worlds.
