Molina Healthcare of Washington Supports Grand Re-Opening of Port Angeles Dream Playground

PORT ANGELES, Wash., June 24, 2024 - Molina Healthcare of Washington was on site for the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand re-opening of the Port Angeles Dream Playground. Molina teamed up with local ice cream shop, Welly’s, to provide free ice cream to children and their families to celebrate the big event.
In December of 2023, the Port Angeles Dream Playground was destroyed by a fire that left the community devastated. Molina was the first corporate sponsor to respond by pledging to match community donations up to $10,000. Within 48 hours, the community met this goal. Through charitable giving, community action and a host of volunteers, the playground was rebuilt in just six months, and reopened for play on June 16.
