Molina Healthcare of New York Sponsors Run the Bronx to Promote Healthy Choices for New Yorkers

BRONX, N.Y., May 13, 2024 – Molina Healthcare of New York was a proud sponsor of Bronx Community College’s 46th Annual Run the Bronx, a community health event featuring 10k and 5k runs and a 2-mile fitness walk. Affinity volunteers were on-site distributing important health information, and some employees took part in the run/walk. More than 1,600 registered runners and walkers joined the fun. Over 600 were high school age or younger.
Run the Bronx was founded by former Bronx Community College president and Tuskegee Airman Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. It was developed to promote health and fitness in an area where organizers say residents are at a higher risk for obesity and diabetes than in other boroughs.
