Dominick Bassi Represents New Mexico in 4th Annual Community Champions Facebook Challenge

Molina Healthcare is holding our 4th annual Community Champions Facebook Challenge, and this year, we are giving every state a chance to earn extra money for the worthy causes their Community Champions support. Each state that held a Community Champions Awards event selected one winner to represent them for this challenge and they each get a 24-hour period to get as many likes as possible. Each like or share on the Molina Facebook post during that period equals $1 to be donated to the organization of their choice, up to $1,000.
Molina Healthcare of New Mexico selected Dominick Bassi as the Community Champion to represent the state in the Facebook challenge. Dominick was instrumental in starting the first cold weather shelter for the men as part of Silver City Gospel Mission's sheltering effort. With temperatures sometimes dropping below zero, Dominick was able to find staff and volunteers to run a shelter, gather needed supplies, develop a policy and procedural manual, schedule shelter volunteers and volunteer at the shelter whenever he was needed.
