Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Mental Health Awareness Event for Seniors in Forest Hill

FOREST HILL, Tex., May 21, 2024 - Molina Healthcare of Texas’ Grandparents Social Club, together with John Peter Smith Behavioral Health, recently hosted a mental health awareness event for seniors in Forest Hill.
The event, held in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, was designed to address loneliness and social isolation. Attendees received resources and information on mental health. The event also featured a special presentation that highlighted the importance of recognizing mental health issues early on and seeking appropriate care.
A meditation demonstration offered practical tips on how to destress the mind, and practice mindfulness on a daily basis. Door prizes and healthy snacks were also provided.
