Molina Healthcare of Texas and Viola’s House Host Diaper Giveaway in McAllen

Molina Healthcare of Texas, together with Viola’s House, recently hosted a diaper giveaway in McAllen for expectant mothers or mothers of children under two years of age. The event featured classes covering topics such as healthcare resources, domestic violence, and pregnancy care. Attendees also received children’s snacks, baby wipes, baby clothes, and other baby items.
Based in the Dallas area, Viola’s House provides temporary housing and support services to expectant teenage mothers. Viola’s House utilizes a holistic approach to help teen expectant mothers make lasting, positive changes in their lives. The program provides basic life necessities including food, housing, and clothing, in addition to life skills education, financial literacy training, and counseling, Viola’s House provides on-site parenting classes with tips and guidance on everything from nutrition to caring for the baby.
