MHT annually measures Member Satisfaction through the Consumer Assessment of Health Plans Survey (CAHPS) and the results are utilized to:
- Assist MHT in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assist MHT in developing Corrective Action Plans to improve performance.
- Assist MHT in measuring the effectiveness of the actions.
- Provide MHT practitioners and providers with feedback.
HEDIS®
HEDIS® statnds for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set. It is a set of standardized performance measures designed to ensure that members have the information they need to reliably compare the performance of managed health care plans. The performance measures in HEDIS® are related to many significant public health issues such as cancer, heart disease, smoking, asthma and diabetes. MHT regularly audits its performance scores in these areas to improve the quality and availability of its programs and services, and to develop new services that would benefit our members
